Experience that matters
Cann Building Co is a Sunshine Coast builder founded by Lukas Cann. Lukas started out as a carpenter in north QLD straight out of school completing his apprenticeship with Mackay’s largest and most prestige custom home builder.
After winning the apprentice of the year award and becoming a tradesman, he was given the opportunity to develop his skills on the other side of construction, working for several years in Estimating and Contract Administration. Lukas moved to Brisbane, working for a major Brisbane builder and a promotion to Estimating Manager.
Over his career, Lukas has worked for several major award-winning builders in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast in roles have including Supervising, Procurement Management, and Construction Management. After more than 23 years working across all areas of construction for successful builders, Lukas successfully launched his own building company – Cann Building Co – in 2025.
